This merit scholarship, sponsored by the Huangpu District Government of Guangzhou, China, aims to develop talent for the Greater Bay Area of China. Scholarship recipients are required to sign a Service Bond Agreement, with an obligation to work for at least two years in the Huangpu District of Guangzhou after graduation. One award of S$45,000 toward tuition will be granted to each scholarship recipient.

The W L (Bill) Byrnes Global Scholarship, established through a generous donation from The Fidelity UK Foundation, in memory of Bill Byrnes, who played a significant role in establishing and growing Fidelity’s international business.
One scholarship, valued at S$52,000, is awarded for each intake. There is no bond to this Scholarship.
Application Process
Candidates who submit their application by the first cut-off date as stated on the Application Process page, and receive an offer to the NUS MSc in Finance programme are eligible to apply for the Scholarship.
The student must have: – Excellent academic merits and overall application profile, – Demonstrated financial needs, and/or – Demonstrated that they are the first in their family to attend university
The Aaron & Ellie Scholarship, established in 2026 through a generous philanthropic gift, is dedicated to empowering NUS MSc in Finance students to pursue academic excellence and reach their full potential.
Two scholarships, valued at S$25,000 each, are awarded for each intake. There is no bond to this Scholarship.
Candidates who submit their application by the first cut-off date as stated on the Application Process page, and receive an offer to the NUS MSc in Finance programme will be automatically considered for the Scholarship.
The Scholarship is open to outstanding candidates of all nationalities. Awards are made on the basis of academic merit, demonstrated potential, including the capacity to make meaningful contributions to the programme and the finance profession, and/or financial need.
